Yin Yoga And Its Characteristics

What exactly is this Yin Yoga? Is it different from the other forms in a significant way?

During this one needs to move his muscles continuously in order to lose calories and give the body an ideal shape. However this is completely different. Yang practice includes daily exercises such as jogging, using machinery such as treadmills, cross trainers, etc. On the other hand, Yin Yoga needs one to completely relax his body and then stretch it in the right positions to strain the muscles and develop them. This also increases the flexibility of the body and makes a person truly healthy. The balance between the mind and the soul is duly maintained and that is a very necessary thing in the present competitive world.
